Pumpkin Patch

Today the whole family got to go with Noah's preschool class to the Tate Farm Pumpkin Patch. You can see he was trying to pick out the perfect pumpkins. Last night, Noah told me that he wanted to get 2000 pumpkins! We settled for 3; 1 big, 1 medium, and 1 little!
Unforntunately, our day for the pumpkin patch fell on the coldest day we've had so far this fall, so that made the hay ride especially cold. We bundled up good and had fun all the same. This was Jackson's first time to do the hay ride/pick out a pumpkin thing!

More fun in the corn crib!

Jackson really liked the bunnies, too!

Noah trying to find his way out of the hay maze.

They have a little barn built so that the kids can jump out the windows into a big pile of hay. Noah never quite got up the nerve to jump unless it was into Daddy's arms!

Even when David demonstrated how to do it, Noah still wouldn't go for it! Way to go, David!!

The whole fam! We don't get many pictures of us all together since one of the two of us is always behind the camera. It was fun to spend a few hours together out having fun. We're lucky that David can be pretty flexible with his work hours and was able to come along with us.
Happy Fall Everybody!!

Noah's Star Poster

Just had to show off my latest homework for Noah's preschool class. Every few weeks each child gets to take a turn being the star student for a 3-4 week period, and Noah's turn has rolled around. We had to make an "All About Noah" poster for him to take to school so he can tell his classmates all about himself. I actually kind of had fun putting it together. This is usually not my kind of thing- that's why I'm a nurse and not a school teacher. Anyway, he was very excited to take it to school today to show off to all of his friends.

One Last Surprise

As one last treat before we left on Saturday, we went to the Downtown Disney area where they have the BIGGEST Disney store you've ever seen. Noah didn't even know where to start!
Noah with the dogs outside of Lego World- the dogs and the person walking them are made entirely of legos. It was pretty cool. They also had a dragon, transformer, crab, shark, and several other things made of legos.

Last Day at Magic Kingdom

This is pretty much what we felt like by the last day of the trip!
Jackson wasn't as fond of the Mickey ears as Noah was.

Pinnochio!

We ate lunch at Tony's Italian Restaurant, and on David's dessert plate, the Lady and the Tramp were drawn in chocolate. Pretty neat!

Jackson crawling through the tunnel at Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood playground.

Jackson got a new pair of Mickey crocs- the holes are Mickeys ears instead of just round holes. He was pretty proud of them!

Hollywood Studios

I didn't get this shirt, but I probably should have. In case you can't see it, it says "Don't make me put on my angry eyes!"
Noah had so much fun looking the the Toy Story gift shop- it was a Disney Store paradise for him.

Hey Jo-Jo!
It's June from the Little Einsteins. Her nose wasn't big enough to attract Jackson's attention, but Noah thought she was pretty cool.

Leo from the Little Einsteins. He signed Noah's book "Mission Completion!".

Goliath was a big hit with both boys.

Noah was so excited about the new Toy Story Mania ride that required 3-D glasses!

Daddy and Noah with Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater.

The whole family with Frozone from the Incredibles.

Wednesday at Epcot

Noah inside the mouth of Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo.
Noah and Daddy with Nemo and friends.

Daddy and Noah dressed like Vikings in Norway.

Me and the boys in China.

What we'd look like as a short fat family (at least fatter than we already are!).

Back to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday

I'm sure Jackson is thinking here "They've got me on this Jungle Cruise and all I want to do is suck my thumb and go to sleep. Somebody get me out of here!"
Noah with one of his heroes- Buzz Lightyear.

Noah and his little stuffed Stitch got to meet the real Stitch!
Jackson liked Stitch, too!
Noah climbed into jail with the evil emperor Zurg after capturing him during the Buzz Lightyear ride.
Noah in Mickey's house.

Noah helping Jackson walk while they played on the playground.

Andy's Room

We stayed at the All Star Movies resort. The section we were staying at had a Toy Story theme. To get to our building, we had to walk through a huge door that said "Andy's Room".
Inside Andy's room was a larger than life Buzz Lightyear. There were also toy soldiers standing along the edge of the roof.

You can see just how big Woody is in comparison to little Noah standing at his feet!

Monday at Animal Kingdom

We started the day with a Safari Breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Noah doesn't look too sure about Mickey yet, does he?
Jackson, of course, went straight for Mickey's nose!

Noah was excited to meet Goofy!
Are you seeing the same pattern here? What is it with the noses?

This was on the safari ride through the jungle. This big lion was sacked out sleeping. I think Jackson was jealous- he was so sleepy while we were on this ride he couldn't stand it. He's still catching up on his sleep- yesterday he took two 2 1/2 hour naps and still went to bed at 7:30!

One pooped little Mickey man. Noah walked through Animal Kingdom with us and was worn out at the end of the day. The rest of the week we rented a stroller for him so he could rest a little and that made a huge difference in how tired he got.

1st Night at Magic Kingdom

We got to Disney World late Sunday afternoon. Noah was thrilled to find his room decorated with Toy Story stuff and towels folded like Mickey Mouse on his bed.
Cinderella's castle looked so pretty at night. It is lit up very well with lights that change colors every few minutes.

Our first stop was dinner at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends.

Jackson was more interested in eating than in the characters at first. Looks like he's offering Piglet some of his roll in this one!
Pooh made a big hit with Jackson- he really liked his nose!
Big hugs for Pooh from Noah!
